I am a student artist at the Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, Oregon. 

My work is centered on the themes of familial relationships, traditions, motherhood, and creation of identity. 

The birth of my first daughter has highly influenced the course of my work, as I have forged ahead on tackling motherhood and artistry, while also finishing my degree. 

I hope that through my work I will be able to escape the pitfall of sentimentality and kitch while working in this subject matter. I also hope to be able to add meaningful commentary on parenthood to the overall cultural conversation through my ongoing work and research.
